Jack Harrison has praised Amadou Onana following Everton’s win over Aston Villa.
The winger took to Instagram to hail his teammate after he bagged an assist for James Garner’s goal in the Carabao Cup clash on Wednesday evening.
Onana joined Everton in a £33 million deal last summer and quickly became a regular in the team, making 33 appearances in the Premier League as he helped the side narrowly avoid relegation.
There are very high hopes for Onana after he was linked with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea, however he had failed to quite live up to expectations in the opening stages of the current campaign.

After suffering four defeats in their opening five matches in the top flight, the midfielder came under heavy criticism for his underwhelming performances.
However, Onana is one of a number of players who have turned things around in the past two games. The 22-year-old has played a key part in Everton’s back-to-back wins and his form has now been appreciated by his teammates.
Onana posted images of the Toffees’ trip to Villa Park on Instagram yesterday, with the caption: “On to the next round, what an evening.”
Harrison showed his support for the Belgian, with a message that read: “Maestro’, with a muscle emoji. He also received comments from Youssef Chermiti and Arnaut Danjuma.
Onana is key
Amadou Onana is clearly a well-loved member of the Everton squad and always seems to be receiving praise for his teammates.

While his form seems to be a bit hot and cold, he appears to be a good character to have around the dressing room and he clearly still has bags of potential that he yet to reach.
Onana at his best could be Everton’s best and most important player, while fans will be hoping he can keep up his form for the rest of the campaign.
