David Moyes is keen to recruit a new number nine for Everton this summer.

Thierno Barry and Beto have finished the season on decent goal tallies, but clearly, it’s not enough for where Everton want to be.

To progress from a 13th-placed side to a European outfit, Moyes must sign a prolific centre-forward who delivers on a consistent basis.

If you were Angus Kinnear who would you be going all out for this summer? 💰

Those are very hard to come by these days, but Micah Richards believes Everton are targeting the right striker.

Micah Richards loves Everton target Dusan Vlahovic

Everton have held talks with Dusan Vlahovic’s representatives ahead of the summer transfer window opening on the 15th of June.

Vlahovic is set to leave Juventus upon the expiry of his contract this month, so he’ll be available on a free transfer.

The 26-year-old, who netted 10 times in 13 starts for the Italian giants last term, is admired greatly by Micah Richards.

Speaking in 2021, Richards waxed lyrical about the Toffees target.

“I have watched him a couple of times now,” Richards told BBC Radio Five Live. “

“He is lightning. It’s ridiculous. He has got 16 in 18 this season. His left foot is like a wand. I am telling you now, he is everything, he is everything you need.”

Are there any players from the relegated clubs you want to see Everton go after this summer? 🤔

Not only is Vlahovic quick, but he’s also a very physical centre-forward, standing at 6ft 3in tall, so he’s got the perfect build for the Premier League.

Indeed, Everton aren’t the only club in the mix to sign the Serbia international, as Roma, Inter, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Manchester United, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have all been linked.

The Toffees hold an advantage in their pitch, as they’d be able to offer Vlahovic regular game time and the chance to become a star in the team.
