Michael Owen has made a positive prediction for Everton in the upcoming season.
Taking to his Twitter account, the former Liverpool striker placed the Toffees in 12th place for the 2023/24 campaign.
Owen’s prediction comes despite the club finishing just above the Premier League’s relegation zone for the past two years.
Sean Dyche will take on his first full season in charge at Goodison Park and Owen clearly believes the manager will be the one to succeed in stabilising Everton after consecutive relegation scraps.

The likes of Fulham, Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers all sit below Everton, as well as all three promoted teams.
Everton will be hoping that their summer transfer business is enough to exceed expectations, having currently only brought in Ashley Young and Arnaut Danjuma.

However, the Toffees look set to sign Youssef Chermiti and have been linked with the likes of Che Adams and Harry Maguire over the last few days.
The quality of the Premier League could benefit Everton this season
Everton have really struggled in recent years, however the low quality of the Premier League this time round could make avoiding relegation a lot easier.
With Southampton, Leeds United and Leicester dropping down to the Championship and Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton Town coming up, there will be a lot of clubs potentially facing the drop.

Many expect the latter two promoted sides to comfortably take the bottom two spots in the table, while there could arguably be a number of teams more likely to place 18th than the Toffees.
Crystal Palace, Fulham, Bournemouth and Wolves have all lost key players this summer, while West Ham and Nottingham Forest could also face another battle at the bottom.
Everton don’t need to be amazing – they just need to be the best of a bad bunch.
