David Moyes is yet to really put a foot wrong at Everton but could be with a potential new transfer.
Moyes has brought the feel-good factor back to Everton as the next campaign is filled with promise and hope.
However, The Friedkin Group’s lack of activity so far this window is bringing worrying signs as the owners must start putting words into action.
It’s said that up to £100m can be spent this window, as Thierno Barry’s £30m+ arrival looks to take a chunk out of that.
There will be no room to waste money on signings, but that could be exactly what Moyes is about to do.

Everton fans can’t believe who David Moyes wants to sign
With many additions needed at the club, the Scotsman is a good manager when it comes to transfers.
He made some inspired choices in his first spell, and Carlos Alcaraz’s £12.6m transfer is looking like these good deals will continue.
However, all might not be as it seems, with it being made clear that Moyes wants to resign Jack Harrison permanently.
Previously, Harrison’s return wasn’t out of the picture, and after a slow start to the window, and players clearly needed, the winger could rejoin.
Speaking on X about the 28-year-old coming back, Evertonians are not pleased, not one bit.
@ADHunter1984 said: “This would be hideous.”
@daviddownie17 was brutally honest, saying: “Might give my season ticket away if Jack Harrison comes back again.”
“Biggest no ever,” another said.
@karlbyron5 made the point of: “Please no! We’re meant to rebuild, not destroy.”
@NeilMuirhead6 explained why Harrison returning would be a bad idea: “No not for me, all the industry in the world but literally offered nothing, goals or assists. Did improve the last few games but I don’t think it was enough, can he keep improving, I doubt it.”
“One of the worst wingers I’ve seen in my lifetime, works hard but that isn’t enough, would be absolutely ridiculous to sign this waster,” @coal1878 harshly said.

Everton might have no choice but to bring Harrison back
It’s safe to say that Harrison isn’t a welcomed signing at Everton.
His two successive loan spells showed minimal promise so it explains why Evertonians feel this way.
| Harrison’s 24/25 Premier League statistics with Everton | |
| Games played | 24 |
| Goals | 1 |
| Cross accuracy % | 23.7% |
| Assists | 0 |
| Dispossessed | 41 |
| Dribbled past | 31 |
But even despite his criticism, Sean Dyche said Harrison is up there ‘with the best’, which is a stark contrast from what fans think, and judging by his numbers, you’d have to agree with the latter.
However, there is a world you can see Harrison returning as plausible, with Everton’s current squad holding just two wingers.
This means a loan deal for the 28-year-old wouldn’t be the end of the world, especially with the Toffees needing potentially 10 signings this summer.
It might have to do, and Moyes seems happy to make an incredible third loan spell happen for Harrison.
