Everton have been linked with Myles Lewis-Skelly in recent weeks, and the Arsenal player has now dropped a potential hint over his future.
The Toffees face a huge summer, and it looks as though the club will not have European football to offer targets.
Just two games remain now and realistically, Everton need six points.
Which of these players do you want to see Everton SIGN in 2026?
The following names have been suggested by fans on TalkingPoints…
David Moyes’ side could perhaps sneak into eighth, but Aston Villa would need to win the Europa League for the Conference League spot to drop down a place.
Speculation about new players has already been plentiful.
And Lewis-Skelly is someone who’s thought to be on Everton’s radar.
However, fresh comments from the player have cast doubt on a move happening.
Myles Lewis-Skelly focused on restoring Arsenal to glory
In recent weeks, Lewis-Skelly has come into the picture a lot more at Arsenal.
The youngster was warming the bench previously and was stuck behind the likes of Piero Hincapie and Riccardo Calafiori.
But the youngster has now forced his way into the starting XI again, and a shift into their midfield has helped his cause.

All of a sudden, the notion of Lewis-Skelly leaving Arsenal in search of regular minutes feels a lot more unlikely – and his latest comments indicate he’s not looking to leave.
He said (via football.london): “I am focused on the games that we have got coming up – and bringing this club back to glory.”
Lewis-Skelly also talked up playing in midfield, which is perhaps something that makes an Everton swoop even more unlikely.
“It feels so natural for me to be there,” he added. “I have been training there a lot, so when I came into there, I felt comfortable and I feel like I took that opportunity.”
Everton, of course, are stacked for midfielders at the moment.
The club would like to sign a new left-back to compete with Vitalii Mykolenko, but it seems Lewis-Skelly loves playing in the middle.
It sounds very much as though he’d like to continue in his current role.
Nathan Ake is right there for Everton
So Lewis-Skelly appears to be off the table right now.
A move for him would always have been difficult. But one man who would be much more attainable this summer is Nathan Ake.
Would you like to see Everton sign Nathan Ake this summer? 🔥
Moyes would love his versatility in defence! 👏
The defender is widely expected to leave Manchester City, and can play both left-back and in the middle.
The Dutchman is vastly experienced at Premier League level and has been a consistent performer for years under Pep Guardiola.
As the club look for someone who can rival Mykolenko, David Moyes shouldn’t look too much further than Ake.
