With a busy summer transfer window in the pipeline, Everton have been linked with Rangers midfielder Mohamed Diomande this summer.
The 23-year-old just completed a positive season in Scotland, scoring four goals and bagging seven assists in 36 appearances.
Despite only joining for around £5m last summer, Rangers could soon be saying goodbye to Mohamed Diomande, who has interest from clubs across the Premier League.
Everton are keen on signing Diomande after confirming they will lose Abdoulaye Doucoure and Orel Mangala this summer, so David Moyes needs new midfielders.
Moyes was recommended Diomande by Everton chiefs, who feel he is the right replacement for the pair. However, Rangers are not willing to sell Diomande cheaply, so Everton will likely have to spend big to get their man.
With Diomande still weighing up his options amid the interest, Everton fans have shared their views on the transfer links.

The Friedkin Group will help Moyes this summer, backing him to get the players he needs to be successful in Everton’s first season in the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Diomande could be one of Moyes’ first signings upon his return to Everton and one of the first players to play at the new ground next season.
While he is predominantly a box-to-box midfielder, Diomande can play as a No. 10 or a left-winger, giving Moyes more cover throughout the pitch.
With Diomande one of many Everton targets this summer, fans have taken to X to share their views on the Ivory Coast international.
“Saw him in the flesh in the Old Firm game a couple of weeks ago, was my MOTM (was given to another player officially). Good player, it’s a yes from me.” said one fan, while another added: “His passing is great, should work well with Beto.”
This Everton fan pointed out Moyes’ recruitment approach, saying: “That’s a Moyes player if ever I’ve seen one.”
“Our new Ashley Young, every Everton team when we are so short of numbers needs a player like that . It’s just a pity it’s not right-sided,” said this optimistic Everton supporter.
This Rangers fan does not want to see Diomande leave, they said: “He’s a good player and still young. Wouldn’t want him to go but money talks especially with EPL teams.”
Finally, this Everton fan said: “A left footed midfielder… we might just be back.”

Ex-Rangers boss backs Mohamed Diomande amid Everton links
Diomande is not the only midfielder Moyes is eyeing a move for. Everton are interested in Matt O’Riley, who only joined Brighton from Celtic last summer, but could be moved on after a slow first season in the Premier League.
Everton fans were excited to be linked with O’Riley. However, there is no clear frontrunner between him and Diomande in regard to who is more likely to join Everton this summer.
Diomande has been praised for his work ethic while at Rangers, and Barry Ferguson was quick to hail the 23-year-old for his performances after joining on loan in the 2023/24 season.
Speaking in his Daily Record column in 2024 about Diomande, Ferguson said: “The signing of Diomande looks particularly shrewd and not just because of the way the numbers were structured. They’ve landed an exciting talent on loan without having to stump up a significant fee until the summer.
“That’s smart financially but it also means the player will have an extra six months to bed into the squad and to familiarise himself with the club and with Scottish football. I suspect it might be next season until we see the best of him.”
In his first season at the club, Diomande has proven Ferguson correct. The 47-year-old even got to manage Diomande in the latter stages of this season after he took over as Rangers boss on a temporary basis.
