Everton are in a good space right now with results on the field going their way, but the same can’t be said about the Friedkin Group who continue to be criticised.

Farhad Moshiri has had his fair share of criticism in his time at Everton, but he finally looks like he’ll be able to sell up with the Friedkin Group stepping in.

The takeover is believed to be constantly progressing. A completion date could be at the end of November, which would allow time before the January transfer window.

There were rumours involving potential new bosses at Everton beyond the takeover, but Sean Dyche has proved his worth in recent games.

After being slammed for the decision to sack Daniele De Rossi by Claudio Ranieri, they may be hesitant to make any potential managerial change right away at Everton.

Now, a former Roma star has got in on the act, slamming Dan and Ryan for their decision.

The Friedkin Group slammed for ‘madness’ decision ahead of the Everton takeover

AS Roma were on the receiving end of a defeat to Inter Milan at the weekend, which now puts them tenth.

The tensions are building, and current boss Ivan Juric is failing to deliver, which has caused a lot of anger and caused former players and managers to come out to slam the owners.

Interestingly, Radja Nainggolan, who was valued at £50 million back in 2017 (as per Koha), is the latest to slam Dan Friedkin for his decision to sack Daniele De Rossi.

In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport (as per Romapress.net), Nainggolan had some harsh words about the owners.

“De Rossi? It was madness to send him away. He had done better than Mourinho.

“He was young, in love and knowledgeable about the environment, they kicked him out without giving him time to bring in many new players.

“The Friedkins are entrepreneurs, what do they understand about football? They come in, they want to make money, they buy players, they spend a lot but not well. In the world of football you live with competence and passion.

“This ownership understands very little about football. They don’t know anything about the fans, the city… they underestimate it and they undergo a crisis.”

What the Friedkin Group have to do at Everton

It’s clear that the Friedkin Group are still learning and developing their ownership skills, as rash decision-making can cost you at times at big clubs.

They have been willing to invest at Roma and it has paid off, but things aren’t great right now.

Everton have a new stadium to look forward to and are playing some good football right now under Sean Dyche, so there’s little to do on the field at the moment.

Hiring the right people in the right areas would be a sensible move, which is why Dan is already looking at a number of hires behind the scenes.

When things aren’t going right, owners often take the brunt of things, and it looks as if they are noticing their mistake, as they’re now considering re-appointing De Rossi.
