Paul Merson has displayed the upmost confidence in Everton as he predicts their trip to Turf Moor on Saturday.
Everton have been in fine form and on Saturday evening they’ll be facing one of the Premier Leagues lowest sides.
Sean Dyche has been lauded all week long for his three consecutive wins in the last two weeks which has left Everton flying high and out of the relegation spots, following their points deduction.
Currently 17th but four points clear, a win here would be huge for the Goodison Park outfit and would spell bad news for the three clubs looking likely to taste relegation.
With a win at Burnley, Sean Dyche could see his side jump over both Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace into 15th which is just three points adrift from the four teams joint on points which goes to 11th.
Ahead of the game, Paul Merson has been having his say on how he thinks the game will go.

Paul Merson gives verdict on Everton v Burnley
Writing in his predictions column on SportsKeeda, Merson began by warning Burnley of Everton’s form, lauding the Toffees side.
“A few weeks ago, Burnley would’ve looked at this game and fancied their chances, but Everton are flying at the moment. Sean Dyche has got his team playing the way he wants and they are on a bit of a run, so I expect them to win this one.
“If Everton win at Turf Moor, they are out of the relegation battle despite the ten-point deduction, which is absolutely incredible. They are in a bit of a false position in the league – if it wasn’t for the sanction, they’d be ninth or tenth in the standings! That said, the margins are very fine, as they could once again be dragged into a relegation dogfight if they lose this one.
“The Toffees are riding high on confidence and should win this one.”
Merson wrapped up his prediction by suggesting the scoreline will be a close one – Burnley 1-2 Everton.
Everton should have enough to beat Burnley
As Merson said, Everton are flying high and in this form, given how bad Burnley have been this season.
Burnley have only picked up eight points all season and sit joint bottom, we can’t see them picking up anymore points here.
Another win for Dyche would make it four in a row and undoubtedly places them with an incredible foundation for the remainder of this season.
