Everton are back in action on Wednesday evening as they play host to Wolves at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Following Everton’s humiliating defeat to Brentford on the weekend, there is a bit of pressure on David Moyes’ side to bounce back with a win tomorrow evening.
Shay Given has noticed the Toffees are really struggling to play at home, perhaps due to the onus being on them to attack the game.
Indeed, Everton will be expected to be on the front foot against Wolves, who are sitting rock bottom of the Premier League table.
Let’s hear those Everton vs Wolves score predictions! 👀

Thomas Kirk appointed referee for Everton vs Wolves
Everton are up against a Wolves side who are being tipped to break Derby County’s record for the lowest points tally in Premier League history.
Although, the West Midlanders did finally register their first win last time out, as they thumped West Ham United.
Anyhow, Moyes’ men are heavy favourites, and now the Premier League have just announced the officials for the game.
Thomas Kirk has been placed in charge of the proceedings, and it’ll actually be the first time he referees an Everton game.
- Referee: Tom Kirk
- Assistants: Adrian Holmes, Simon Long
- Fourth official: Simon Hooper
- VAR: Chris Kavanagh
- Assistant VAR: Craig Taylor
Thomas Kirk has been appointed referee for Everton vs Wolves….
He's never refereed an Everton game before 🤔
Thomas Kirk is a very inexperienced Premier League referee
Kirk has only refereed two Premier League games in his career, with his debut coming back in December during Burnley vs Crystal Palace.
Most of his games have come in the Championship, having officiated 13 in the second tier. Kirk has also taken charge of three EFL Cup matches and one in League Two.
Across his 18 games in professional football, Kirk has shown 73 yellow cards, which averages out to four per game.
Kirk has only ever given one red card, and he’s awarded three penalty kicks, so the data suggests he’s a pretty calm referee who likes to let the game flow.
