Everton will face Liverpool at Anfield in the Merseyside derby on Saturday, and one of the key players in the Premier League game will be Jarrad Branthwaite.
Jarrad Branthwaite had a loan spell at PSV last season and has now established himself as an important player in the Everton first team.
Everton manager Sean Dyche is playing Branthwaite regularly.
The 21-year-old has played six times in the Premier League and once in the EFL Cup.
The England Under-21 international central defender is very likely to start for Everton against Liverpool in the Merseyside derby on Saturday.
Liverpool are the favourites heading into the Premier League and have a very strong attacking unit.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp on Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite
I believe that the Everton defence will come under pressure a lot.
So, Branthwaite will have to be on top of his game.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is aware of the quality of Branthwaite and has spoken highly of him.
Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: “Last line, super-experienced and with Branthwaite now a really good left-footed centre-half.”
Liverpool were linked with Jarrad Branthwaite
Interestingly, Liverpool were linked with a move for Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite in the summer of 2023.
There was speculation that Liverpool were scouting the young defender during his loan spell at PSV last season.
The Mirror reported in March 2023 that Liverpool and Manchester United were following the youngster and were looking to make a move in the summer transfer window.
The report quoted Branthwaite as saying that although he was aware of interest from the Reds and the Red Devils, he was focused on playing for Everton in the long run.
