Everton return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon, as they take on Crystal Palace.
David Moyes’ side picked up a good point against Manchester City on Monday, although it means they’ll have to go to Selhurst Park and win to keep their European dreams alive.
Everton are currently sitting in 10th place and reside three points adrift of seventh-placed Brentford, who occupy a Conference League spot.
Ahead of the important clash in South London, the Premier League have just announced the referee who will be in charge.
Let us know your prediction for Sunday’s trip to Crystal Palace… 😬
Everton have not lost to Palace since 2022, but three points are now essential! 💪
The appointment may be a little controversial from a Toffees perspective.

Tom Bramall appointed referee for Everton vs Crystal Palace
The Premier League have just announced that Tom Bramall will be the referee in charge of Everton against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Bramall will be joined by the following officials for the 2pm kick-off.
- Referee: Tom Bramall
- Assistants: Simon Long, Sian Massey-Ellis
- Fourth official: Sam Barrott
- VAR: Matt Donohue
- Assistant VAR: Stuart Burt
Who would you be starting up front on Sunday against Crystal Palace? 😬
Do you stick with Beto or reward Barry for Monday's brace? 🤔
Interestingly, Bramall did actually have to apologise to Everton last year when he refereed their pre-season clash against Manchester United.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the young referee admitted to the Toffees player after the game that he shouldn’t have awarded United a penalty.
James Tarkowski was deemed to have fouled Amad at the time, but clearly, it was a really poor decision from Bramall.
Moyes will be hoping the official lets more go on Sunday, as history shows he may be quick to award a foul for minimal contact.
In fairness, since that game, Bramall has refereed three Everton games, and there have been no contentious decisions.
| Games | Wins | Draws | Losses | Yellow cards | Red cards | Penalties awarded |
| 6 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 8 | 0 | 1 |
He has only awarded one penalty during a competitive Everton game, and that came during the 2-0 Carabao Cup win against Mansfield Town earlier this season.
