Everton are drawing up a shortlist of transfer targets ahead of the summer window.

David Moyes will be keen to bolster his squad with more quality, as the lack of depth has proved challenging at times this season.

Everton have looked at several players in the Championship, including Femi Azeez, Sorba Thomas and Zan Vipotnik.

Everton considering move to sign Isaac Price

Isaac Price was a key player in Everton’s under-21s side before he departed the club during the summer of 2023.

Frank Lampard was a huge admirer of Price and once said he had ‘everything’ needed to become a top player.

Ultimately, the young midfielder left for Belgium outfit Standard Liege on a free transfer, and he now finds himself in the Championship with West Bromwich Albion.

Price has been earning rave reviews this season and ended the campaign with a very respectable 12 goal involvements in a struggling side.

As such, according to Sportsboom, Everton’s recruitment team are actually considering bringing him back to Finch Farm.

The 22-year-old, who can operate as a box-to-box midfielder and as a number 10, is also being watched by Fulham.

Price’s athletic capabilities, paired with his technical ability, make him a very interesting profile for Premier League clubs.

It remains to be seen whether Everton’s interest turns into a formal bid, with Albion believed to be demanding around £20m.

The West Midlanders need a quick cash injection to meet financial rules, so perhaps the Toffees could bargain and land his signature at a discounted price.

Given Price’s affiliation with the club, it seems like a very doable deal.
