Anthony Elanga has decided against joining Everton this summer.
That’s according to the Daily Mail, who have claimed that the Manchester United winger has made a decision on his next club and it won’t be the Toffees.
BBC Sport reported last week that Everton are very interested in signing Elanga, who is set to be available for £15-20 million ahead of next season.
The 21-year-old made only five starts in the Premier League last time out and hasn’t netted for the Red Devils since their Champions League draw with Atletico Madrid in February 2022.

Erik Ten Hag previously heaped praise on the youngster, admitting that he was ‘doing well’ and that he’s ‘quite mature’ after he was forced into the limelight during the 2021-22 season. However, he has since struggled for game time under the Dutchman.
Everton tried to sign Elanga on loan during the January transfer window and journalist Dean Jones has claimed that Sean Dyche has been a huge fan of the Swede for ‘some time’ as he looks to make a second attempt at luring him to Merseyside.

It is unclear where Elanga has decided to go this summer, however reports have claimed that Nottingham Forest and a number of clubs in Germany have expressed interest in signing him.
Anthony Elanga would be a loss but Everton have a number of attackers on their radar
Anthony Elanga would have been a very good signing for Everton, particularly because of Sean Dyche’s admiration for him.

The young forward clearly has a lot of potential and the Toffees boss could have worked wonders with him, but it wasn’t meant to be.
Everton remain keen on both Wilfried Gnonto and El Bilal Toure this summer and, if they can capture the duo, then missing out on Elanga won’t seem quite as disappointing.
