Everton have made nine signings this transfer window, and Roy Keane has given his opinion on one new recruit.
David Moyes will be happy with the business the Toffees have made, as nine new arrivals bring a fresh look to the squad.
Adding to this, nine players have gone the other way, with Youssef Chermiti the last to exit, as his £10 million move to Rangers was confirmed on deadline day.
It’s improved replacements from The Friedkin Group, who can call this window a success, as Everton spent over £100 million.
Everton had an 8.5/10 window, as it’s positive signs, especially after their start to the season, and Keane has given his verdict on one new name at the club.

Roy Keane believes that Jack Grealish will be a ‘hit’ at Everton
Jack Grealish has been the man making the headlines on the Blue side of Merseyside in August.
Moyes has a player who looks the level where he wants the Toffees to get to, and Jamie Redknapp believes Grealish is the underrated signing of the summer.
Keane has now given his view, speaking to Sky Sports on X on ‘hit or miss’ transfers this summer, and the former Man United man can see only one thing happening with the winger.
“It will be a hit for Jack. It’s a good move for him,” Keane said.
“Good move, good start for him.”
Keane thinks Grealish will be Everton’s main man, and the Irishman has full belief in this move working out.
The winger might have also taken on board the legendary midfielder’s advice as well, after what the pundit said last year.

Roy Keane said Everton’s Jack Grealish needed game time at Man City for England chances
The pundit saw the 29-year-old’s fall-off at Man City coming, and it’s clear that this loan move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium was the right decision.
Keane told ITV in September 2024, after a 2-0 win for the Three Lions vs Finland, that the winger needed game time if he was to have any chance of playing a major role for England.
“Biggest thing for Jack is, I definitely think he needs to play regularly at Man City and that’s obviously difficult, the challenges there,” Keane said.
“I think he needs to be sharp. When he’s not playing regularly, he does lose that sharpness very quickly. So it’s key he gets games at City.
“Usually, when you’re doing well at club level, you’re selected for your international team. So your bread and butter is what you do week-in, week-out at club level, particularly for players like Jack.”
Obviously, after this, he eventually went down in the pecking order for England, but now it’s his chance to re-emerge in the national set-up.
Louis Saha can see Grealish’s England return, and it’s clear why after a vibrant start to the Premier League season.
Moyes has handed him the keys to rediscover his freedom on the left-hand side, and Keane was right in terms of it being as simple as consistent game time.
