Seamus Coleman has announced he will be stepping away from his playing career at Everton.
Following 17 years and 433 appearances, Coleman has called it a day on his time with the Toffees as a player.

An update on Coleman’s Everton future was expected today [Friday] ahead of what will be the final home game of the season on Sunday.
Speaking to the Everton website, Coleman has admitted an offer is on the table over another role at Finch Farm.
“The Club have been unbelievable with me. They’ve offered me an opportunity to stay on at the Football Club,” said the 37-year-old.

“The manager and staff have been great, and I think with it being such an important decision over my future, I’m going to take a nice, long holiday and look back on what has been an amazing time as an Everton footballer.”
It is a decision that many will have expected given the Ireland international’s lack of football over the course of the 2025/26 campaign.
The right-back has not called a day on his playing career just yet, but an opportunity to remain at Everton in some capacity is still on the table.
Coleman does hold his coaching badges, which could see him take on a role in the same way in which Leighton Baines did following his retirement.
For now, the focus will be on Sunday in what will be another extremely emotional final home game of the season for the Blues.
