Sean Dyche has given his press conference ahead of Everton vs Newcastle, in which he shared the truth about whether he’s had any talks with The Friedkin Group.
It’s exciting times for Everton fans with the takeover process ongoing and a new stadium in the works.
The Friedkin Group remain confident that their current issue will be sorted and the takeover can continue amid worries that emerged recently.
Meanwhile, the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium is having its final checks with the seats.
However, the focus is very much on the field as Everton are set to take on Newcastle United next up.
When speaking in his press conference, Sean Dyche shared everything he knows or has been told involving The Friedkin Group and their transfer plans.

Sean Dyche responds to takeover and transfer plan questions
The Friedkin Group are currently in charge of AS Roma over in Italy and there are believed to be no plans to sell up, despite taking over at Everton potentially.
It’s a takeover that Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has been desperate for. He has tried to sell his shares in the club for what has seemed like an eternity.
However, it’s still clearly early days judging by Sean Dyche’s response.
When asked about whether he’s heard from The Friedkin Group and their transfer plans, he said this (via Everton on YouTube).
“Well It’s fair to say there wasn’t many quotes in there. I try and stick to the facts and I certainly haven’t heard anything from the owners at all. Certainly not about transfer budgets.
“So as there were no quotes I would take that as a mythical story like there are many out there. Until it becomes a fact then I try and concentrate on the facts.
“And I certainly know no other at this stage.”
Four signings Everton could make in January
Well, the obvious one that jumps out is to bring in a striker in the summer transfer window, as Dominic Calvert-Lewis could be on his way out with Newcastle and a cut-price deal being floated around.
Elsewhere, another creative midfielder could be of use, as Dwight McNeil has been the one to fill in that position of late, albeit to good effect.
Jesper Lindstrom hasn’t settled that well to life in the Premier League just yet and options are short out wide as it is, so a tricky winger is definitely needed in January.
Lastly, Everton only have four centre-backs options, and Michael Keane has already come under some criticism so far this season, so bringing in some more quality there would be sensible.
