Everton were left ruing missed chances on Saturday after falling to a 3-1 defeat against West Ham United at Goodison Park.
The Toffees led through Beto‘s header but were pegged back shortly after before conceding another two goals in stoppage time.
Sean Dyche‘s side are now on a run of 10 games without a win in the Premier League, their longest winless run since 1984.
It leaves them firmly in the relegation mix, though, still with a five-point gap on 18th-placed Luton Town after their defeat to Aston Villa.
The Everton boss came out post-match and insisted that it’s time to take accountability for failing to convert chances.

Everton had a 2.88 xG, compared to West Ham’s 1.46, and Beto squandered a 12-yard spot-kick just before the break.
So they had themselves to blame for the defeat after not taking their chances, yet again.
Everton are the division’s third-lowest scorers and that simply has to change if they are to survive.
Indeed, the persistent nature of the problem is something that even Dyche can’t explain.
Everton have tried everything to find the back of the net with more frequency at home, but poor finishing has continued to plague the season, and even the Toffees boss admits it is odd how the issue continues to undermine his side’s performances.
Speaking after the game, Dyche told evertontv: “I try to tell the truth about the performances. It is a decent performance. It’s a performance that can win games, but you can’t keep creating (those chances and not winning). I can’t keep saying the xG is through the roof. I can’t keep saying that.
“The chances – they’re there for all to see. It’s about time we took responsibility and got players scoring goals. That’s down to myself, and the coaches, but also the players on the pitch.
“It’s just a strange thing at Goodison and I can’t work it out. I’d love to be out there to score. I’ve seen this place erupt and I’ve felt it. Why would you not want to have the clarity to go to score a goal?”

Everton have netted just 15 goals in 14 games at Goodison Park all season and Dyche is struggling to work out why that is.
The Toffees boss referenced how the place can erupt with a goal and he must use that as fuel for his squad heading into the business end of the season. The players have to take advantage of the passionate Goodison crowd.
Beto, despite enduring a dismal debut campaign, has received the complete backing of the Everton faithful and that notion was magnified when he headed home the opener.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and other forwards bereft of confidence should draw inspiration from that to please their home fans, who have not had much to shout about of late.
The Merseysiders have one more game before the international break, as they prepare for a trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Saturday.
