The positivity is back at Everton and the squad morale appears to be high, with Sean Dyche even coming out and praising one of his players.
Everton defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 on the weekend after a marvellous brace by Dwight McNeil, who’s been gaining a lot of plaudits.
In fact, speaking post-match, Theo Walcott said The Toffees will have to rely on McNeil’s quality if they are to avoid relegation.
But, it’s more of a team game, and whilst McNeil’s recent performance was a good one, there were a number of other players on the field who worked equally as hard.
With that said, another Everton player has really caught the eye of Sean Dyche recently.

Sean Dyche so impressed by Ashley Young
Dyche was so impressed by Ashley Young’s display against Crystal Palace and revealed that he trains nearly every day, evincing his incredible commitment to Everton.
“I said the other week, his mentality has got him to where he is in life and in football – and that’s an incredible achievement,” Dyche told Everton TV.
“He trains virtually every single day. Very rarely is he out of training; very rarely is he not accepting of what I ask of him, and I thought he was terrific today.”
Aged 39, Young is showing little signs of slowing down, remarkably, which is a testament to his professionalism off the pitch.
Everton should consider handing Ashley Young new contract
Young’s contract at Goodison Park is set to expire at the end of the season, so Everton chiefs should seriously consider renewing it.
Whilst he’s still performing at such a high level, there’s no reason to let him go on a free and it appears Dyche shares that same feeling.
His two assists at the weekend are evidence that he still has what it takes to influence games, and his experience could prove crucial if it does come down to a relegation dog fight.
