David Moyes was left delighted as Everton sealed three points on the road against Manchester United.
Two consecutive wins have now been put on the board for Everton, which is the first time since the opening weeks of the campaign.
There were so many positives to take from the game at Old Trafford for Moyes on a night which could have gone horribly wrong following the sending off.
Gary Neville was so impressed by James Garner who really showed his former club just what they had missed out on when they sold him in 2022.
He was not the only one representing Everton against their former club.
Michael Keane was a rock at the back for the Toffees, but Simon Jordan has shared his verdict on the 32-year-old centre-back that will not go down well on Merseyside.

What Simon Jordan said about Everton’s Michael Keane
There is no hiding from the big talking point after the game, which saw Idrissa Gana Gueye sent off for hitting his own teammate.
Speaking to Everton News, Mark Clattenburg has admitted he agreed with Gueye’s sending off, going off the letter of the law.
In the wake of the game, Jordan has now admitted that he disagrees, but also thrown a real dig towards Keane in doing so.
Should Gueye have been sent off?
“I’ve been a massive critic of Michael Keane. I’ve got this image in my mind of that Airplane [movie] scene where they queue to hit the woman in the face. And seeing Michael Keane play sometimes, that’s what I feel like doing to him, but I don’t play on the same team as him,” Jordan said on TalkSPORT.
“I actually watched it and thought is there a necessity to send the player off for this? Given it is an altercation between two players of the same side.”
Actually, Jordan has it all wrong, with Moyes waxing lyrical about Keane on the back of the game against his former club.
The 32-year-old has been hugely important for Everton over recent months in the absence of Jarrad Branthwaite’s injury issues.
To keep a clean sheet against Manchester United, having been a man down, Keane deserved a lot more credit from the former Crystal Palace owner.

Michael Keane has become so important for Everton
Clearly, Jordan has not watched a great deal of Everton this season as Keane has quickly become a very important player under Moyes.
Everton fans were singing Keane’s name during the post-match celebrations at Old Trafford.
This is a clear indication of how those who actually watch Keane every week truly feel about his performances.
| 25/26 Premier League | Goals conceded |
| Arsenal | 6 |
| Crystal Palace | 9 |
| Manchester City | 10 |
| Aston Villa | 11 |
| Chelsea | 11 |
| Sunderland | 11 |
| Everton | 13 |
Former Everton manager Sean Dyche thinks Keane is actually hugely underrated for what he has displayed on Merseyside.
It is comments like that from Jordan which may create a narrative around a player like Keane who is quietly going about his business this season.
