It will be an incredibly emotional day for supporters, with likely not a dry eye in the stands, especially at the full-time whistle.
Everton have exciting plans to give Goodison its rightful send-off, with a special edition kit rumoured to be worn by the players.
Ahead of the farewell, we’ve put together a number of quotes from famous managers and players who shared their love for Everton’s home.

Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola, Paul Scholes and many more open up about their love for Everton’s Goodison Park
Goodison Park is loved and adored not just by Everton fans and players, but by so many of the visiting teams over the years.
Sir Alex Ferguson once said: “It is always a nightmare going there and it wouldn’t matter whether it was Dixie Dean playing for us. The atmosphere is fantastic.”
Jose Mourinho explained: “I love to play Everton, especially at Goodison Park, where the atmosphere is magnificent.”

Pep Guardiola recently admitted he’ll be sad to see Everton leave: “It has been truly, truly an honour to come here to Goodison Park for many years.
“Today I was on the pitch (before the game) watching on the screen, watching all the goals (at Goodison Park over the years) and I said, ‘Wow! This is English football!’
“My friend Ronald Koeman destroyed me the first time I came here in a 4-0, with (Romelu) Lukaku, I remember perfectly.”
“Everton’s ground is a lot more aggressive than Liverpool’s. It’s one of the noisiest I’ve been to. It has a great atmosphere,” Arsene Wenger said.
Paul Scholes confessed: “I never found Anfield intimidating. Goodison Park had the better atmosphere.”

Former Everton player and current Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta doesn’t want the Toffees to go: “I think the Premier League has got a reputation all over the world for places like Goodison Park. I think that makes the Premier League unique, so it’s going to be very strange.
“I understand it’s the evolution of football, of a football club, but this is very much part of the history of this league, and when you want to describe somebody from abroad how the Premier League looks like, you say go to Goodison Park and experience it. Unfortunately, in a few months, we’re not going to have that again.”
Moyes desperate to sign off at Goodison Park with a win
Ahead of the final game at Goodison, David Moyes has issued a rallying cry to his players, urging them to sign off with a win.
“I won’t want to go out with anything but a win. No, I won’t, because I’ve told the players it’s maybe the biggest game of the season for us next weekend.
“And we’re going to be watched by great players, great managers. People who are far better than any of us, who have graced it.
“So we’ve got to put a show on and we’ve got to try and show that we can play well.”
For the players, they’ll have the chance to write their names in Everton folklore as the last player to score at Goodison Park.
The stage is set.
