Everton boss Sean Dyche has now said what the Toffees need to do to improve their form at Goodison Park.
The Blues are yet to pick up a point at home so far this season and have only managed to score one goal in four consecutive defeats.
Indeed, Everton’s home form is a cause for concern, and Sean Dyche says his side have to turn ‘performances into wins’ and are ‘so close yet so far away’ from doing so.
Everton welcome Bournemouth to Goodison Park this Saturday with the hopes of securing their first three points of the season at home.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference reported via Everton’s official YouTube channel, Dyche spoke of the difficulties of performing on home turf.
The Everton manager said: “We are trying to change a two-year-old story. I think the last thing we have to change is taking opportunities and control of the games we are dominating.
We are so close yet so far away. We have to turn those performances into wins. It’s not to do with the fans. It’s a team thing, not just one individual.”
Sean Dyche must ensure performances turn into wins
Everton created a plethora of chances in home games against Fulham and Wolves but failed to find the net, before an insipid performance against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
The Blues finally scored a Goodison Park goal courtesy of Dominic Calvert-Lewin last week, but it proved to be little more than a consolation as Luton Town claimed a 2-1 win.

Once again, Sean Dyche’s side created more than enough opportunities to win the game but failed to make the chances count.
Bournemouth will be a tough test on Saturday afternoon but it is a winnable game and one Everton must take all three points from.
