It has been good news story and good news story at Everton over the last two months.

The times are changing on Merseyside with the Toffees finally able to look forward to a brighter future under David Moyes.

One game remains ahead of the international break, and Everton have the opportunity to pull 19 points clear of the bottom three.

Considering where the Blues were back in January with Sean Dyche in the dugout, it just goes to show how extraordinary the turnaround has been.

Not many would have pictured Everton going eight games unbeaten in the Premier League at the turn of the year.

And the latest announcement to come out of the Premier League just goes to show how impressive Everton have been over the last couple of months.

Everton’s David Moyes awarded Premier League Manager of the Month

The Friedkin Group made the huge decision to make the managerial change back in January, and it is one they have not looked back on.

On Friday, it was announced that Moyes has won the Premier League Manager of the Month award for February.

“It’s been great being back in the building here. Everybody’s made me feel really welcome and obviously winning enough games to be awarded the Manager of the Month has been huge for us,” Moyes said.

What the 61-year-old has done at Goodison Park has been nothing short of sensational, especially considering the injury issues he is dealing with.

The Toffees went all of February unbeaten in the Premier League, with some really impressive results collected.

An away win against Crystal Palace saw January signing Carlos Alcaraz shine for Everton, as he scored and provided Beto with an assist.

Players like Jake O’Brien have praised Moyes for the changes he has made since replacing Dyche in the dugout.

The 61-year-old has handed fresh leases of life to a number of Everton players, who were simply not given a look in under Dyche’s tenure.

Appointing Moyes was a masterstroke from The Friedkin Group

Although the results were not going the way the club wanted, there will have been many who felt Dyche still had enough in him to keep Everton afloat.

A number of pundits questioned Everton’s appointment of Moyes, but the Scotsman has proven many people wrong in his return to Merseyside.

Dyche may well have kept the Toffees afloat, but the way things were trending would’ve suggested it may have gone right down to the wire.

Instead, the Friedkins have created some stability at Goodison, and the club will now be able to prepare themselves for the summer window.
