Everton have been one of the form sides in the Premier League since Sean Dyche’s departure.

The Friedkin Group sacked Dyche at the turn of the year and replaced him with former manager David Moyes.

The Scotsman has completely turned the club’s fortunes around and now fears of suffering relegation are a thing of the past.

Moyes’ side are 15 points clear of the relegation zone and are very much looking up, though, a top 10 finish is perhaps a little too ambitious.

Injuries have stunted their chances of a really strong finish to the season, however, there has now been a positive update on the condition of Iliman Ndiaye, who suffered knee ligament damage in the Merseyside derby earlier this month.

Iliman Ndiaye could make ‘serious progress’ over coming weeks

Liverpool Echo journalist Joe Thomas has just revealed that Iliman Ndiaye will step up his recovery over the next couple of weeks.

“There is a hope Ndiaye may make serious progress over the coming weeks as well, potentially giving Moyes a much stronger hand as we enter spring,” Thomas wrote.

Ndiaye suffered medial ligament damage to his knee in the first half against Liverpool earlier this month and went off looking distraught.

At the time, many thought it could end his season, but now it seems there’s a genuine hope of him returning to the grass this month.

Dwight McNeil could also return this month

Everton may be set for a double injury boost this month as Dwight McNeil could make his return from the sidelines this month.

McNeil has been out with a knee injury since December and was forced to undergo surgery on it at the start of February.

He was given a six-week recovery time, so that means if all goes to plan, the left-footed wide player could be back in two weeks’ time.
