Everton have been drawing up a shortlist of targets ready for the fast-approaching summer transfer window.

Everton are expected to be busy in the market, as David Moyes’ side look to take the next step towards Europe.

The Toffees are already pursuing a deal to sign Hayden Hackney from Middlesbrough and it’s believed they’re leading the race ahead of rival Premier League clubs.

Are there any players from the relegated clubs you want to see Everton go after this summer? 🤔

A report has also come out about two unnamed Premier League clubs making an approach to sign an Arsenal player, and it’s fairly likely that it’s the Merseysiders.

Here’s why.

Everton could be unnamed club enquiring about Leandro Trossard

Transfer specialist Ben Jacobs has taken to X to report that two unnamed Premier League clubs have ‘enquired’ about Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard.

There is a good chance one of the clubs is Everton, because they’re very short on the wide areas at the moment.

Tyrique George and Jack Grealish have both returned to their parent clubs, so Moyes will clearly be desperate to reinforce the left flank.

What should Everton be willing to pay to bring back Grealish over the summer? 💰

It would be very Moyes-like to go after a player with Premier League experience, too, and Trossard has bags of that.

The 31-year-old is also out of contract next year, so Everton have the chance to land his signature for a discounted price.

Whether Mikel Arteta would sanction his sale remains to be seen, as the Belgium international just started the Champions League final defeat against Paris Saint-Germain.

Trossard, who netted eight goals whilst laying on 11 assists this season, remains a very important player for the Gunners.
