Thierno Barry’s time at Everton has been filled with struggles as he continues to adapt to his new life in England.
Goals have come at a real premium for Everton this season, with just one of their 12 goals scored this season coming from either Barry or Beto.
For David Moyes, some of the same issues from last season have translated into the 2025/26 campaign.
Everton News is aware that Everton are looking to sign another striker when the January transfer window opens for business.
It has not been an easy transition for the 23-year-old striker, who made the move from Villarreal in the summer.
Barry impressed the Everton fans with his performance in the victory against Fulham.
However, he has now shed some light on an injury he picked up during the game against the Cottagers.

Thierno Barry sheds light on Everton injury suffered against Fulham
Roy Keane has admitted that Barry has frustrated him this season when he has watched Everton play in the Premier League.
Without a doubt, it has not been the start to life on Merseyside that everyone wanted for Barry, but his Fulham showing was much-improved.
Speaking to the Everton media team, Barry has now revealed that he actually dislocated his shoulder during that game before the international break.
“When I was towards the side of the pitch, I touched the ball, and when I touched it, my arm went up and my shoulder was dislocated. I fell to the ground,” said the 23-year-old.
“I asked the staff to wait to see how it was because I really wanted to continue. I just wanted to stay on the pitch and try to score.
“With the passion on the pitch, you don’t feel the pain. You feel it after the game, maybe, but on the pitch, you don’t feel it.”
Moyes was keen to sign another striker during the summer having already lost Dominic Calvert-Lewin as a free agent.
The Frenchman’s development is going to be a slow one, but Everton remain confident in Barry’s talent despite searching for an additional frontman.
Barry is showing the fight needed to succeed at Everton
Duncan Ferguson admitted Everton need more from their strikers, but the Scot will surely be impressed with the resilience being shown by Barry.
The youngster has not had it easy, but he looks like the striker who should be starting for Everton on the back of his display against Fulham.
Is Troy Parrott the perfect January signing for Everton?
Everton News reported last week that Everton have been watching Troy Parrott ahead of the January transfer window.
But even the in-form Ireland international will offer some form of risk if the Blues were to make a move in the winter market.
Clearly, Everton need something more for the second half of the season, but the fans must be liking the determination on display from Barry.
