Everton manager David Moyes has always been keen to recruit from the Championship.
Speaking last year, Moyes said: “We continue to look closer to home, which is the Championship.
“Last year, the Championship produced some incredible players like (Morgan) Rogers, (Adam) Wharton, (Jaden) Philogene possibly. The Championship is always a place we should be looking to see.”
There could be a fire sale in north London this summer if they go down! 🔥
Who'd you take at Everton from their squad?
With that said, Everton are expected to scout a number of second-tier players over the coming months.
Here are three they should seriously consider signing.

Zan Vipotnik – Swansea City
Zan Vipotnik is the Championship’s top scorer despite operating in a mid-table Swansea City side.
| Competition | Games | Goals | Assists |
| Championship | 36 | 17 | 2 |
| EFL Cup | 4 | 2 | 0 |
| FA Cup | 1 | 0 | 0 |
With Everton looking to sign a new striker, Vipotnik should certainly be considered, as the 23-year-old has already shown he can adapt to English football.
The 22-cap Slovenia international has a unique trait of being both footed, which makes him an even more attractive target.
Milan van Ewijk – Coventry City
Everton have been in the market for a right-back for over a year, with Moyes keen to upgrade on Jake O’Brien and Nathan Patterson.
Seamus Coleman is coming to the end of his Toffees career, with his contract due to expire at the end of the season.
That said, Coventry City full-back Milan van Ewijk should be on Moyes’ radar.
Moyes’ current deal expires next year… 🤔
Van Ewijk is widely considered one of the best right-backs in the Championship, having laid on an impressive seven assists.
The 25-year-old has just over one year left on his deal, so the Toffees could land his signature for a discounted price.
Femi Azeez – Millwall
Everton scouts have actually been watching Femi Azeez in recent weeks.
Azeez is an electric right-winger who has a wand of a left foot, as evinced by his 16 goal involvements this season.
The 24-year-old is already attracting interest from several Premier League clubs, including Brentford, Fulham, Brighton, Sunderland and Leeds United.
