Everton discovered their 2026/27 Premier League fixtures on Friday morning.

Toffees across the world got to learn the key dates to put in their diaries ahead of Everton’s upcoming campaign.

David Moyes could only push his side to a 13th place finish in the Premier League during the 2025/26 season, which will need to be improved upon.

Winners

Everton are being predicted to finish 12th in the upcoming season, which would not be the improvement that fans demand.

Europe has to be on Everton’s agenda once again after witnessing nine Premier League clubs qualify over recent weeks.

Getting off to a good start will be crucial for the Blues, which leads us to our first winner from the opening fixtures.

David Moyes

Everton kick off their season at the Hill Dickinson Stadium this time around, with no excuses to be made for their home going forward.

Facing Crystal Palace and Bournemouth does offer Everton an opportunity at getting some points on the board against two sides with new managers.

The opening six fixtures also sees Everton face two of the newly-promoted sides.

Tottenham Hotspur

Ultimately, Tottenham Hotspur are only facing Everton next season because of Everton’s failure on the final day of the 2025/26 campaign.

It was not solely down to Everton to relegate Spurs, but keeping them afloat has offered them the opportunity to right their wrongs in this summer’s transfer window, which is already being felt across the league.

Everton supporters

The opening game of the season will be held on a Saturday, with a 3pm kick-off slot.

Everton were handed more Monday night games than any other side during the 2025/26 campaign, which did not go down well on Merseyside.

More Monday games could follow this season following the failure to qualify for Europe, but at least the season starts in traditional style.

Losers

David Moyes

Yes, he may have featured in our winners section, but Moyes will also be under real pressure to get some momentum built in the opening weeks of the season.

Taking to TalkingPoints, there were a lot of Everton fans who wanted Moyes sacked at the end of the season.

The Scot simply cannot afford to kick off the new season with poor form given he only has 12 months currently remaining on his contract.

Crystal Palace

The 2025/26 campaign may have been an exceptional one for the newly-crowned Europa Conference League champions, but their record against Everton is terrible.

Palace have not beaten Everton in the Premier League since 2021 and they have not won on Merseyside since 2014.
