Dele Alli has endured some difficult years both on and off the pitch of late as he now seeks a new challenge.
Years have now gone by since Dele last took to the pitch at Goodison Park following his arrival from Tottenham Hotspur.
Last week, it was announced Dele would train with Como in Italy as he continues to make his recovery from his latest injury issue.
This comes just a week after Dele posted a video from Everton training on his social media which impressed some of his former teammates.
But as he now departs for the Italian outfit, more players from Dele’s past have shared their best wishes as he looks to finally make his return.

Dele Alli confirms Everton exit
Sean Dyche recently shared Dele’s injury setback which provided the 28-year-old with further frustrations behind-the-scenes.
The midfielder has now taken to social media to share of his departure from Everton where he has thanked everyone at the club.
Taking to his Instagram account, Dele provided a heartfelt statement to the fans, staff and players at Goodison Park.
“As widely published this week, 2025 may set me on a new path with some exciting opportunities,” he said.
“Before any of that happens it’s very important for me to make clear how grateful I am of all the fans, staff and players at Everton FC for the support they have given me.
“It’s been an incredibly tough journey trying to put the final pieces together to regain match fitness and I cannot thank the Everton staff enough for the hard work they have put into this process.
“Unfortunately, things haven’t worked out as we all would have hoped and I think it’s the right time for me to turn a new page.
“I want to wish everyone at this amazing club the very best of luck and hopefully we will see each other again soon.”
Everton held positive talks about Dele with Tottenham over their contractual agreement earlier this season.
However, those talks are now no longer of any meaning.

Tottenham’s Richarlison reacts to Dele’s Everton exit
Former Everton striker Richarlison is someone who remains highly thought of around Goodison Park after leaving for Spurs.
Richarlison – who is also out through injury – replied with clapping hands and raised hands emojis on Instagram.
He was not alone with Amadou Onana, Dominic Solanke, Alex Iwobi and Ben Godfrey just some of the other players to share their thoughts.
Everton fans want to see Richarlison return in the future and, if that is to happen, the Brazilian will not be lining up alongside Dele.
It has not been an easy spell in Dele’s career, but Everton fans will be wishing him the best for whatever he has next.
