Everton have not enjoyed the start to the 2024/25 campaign that any of their fans would have hoped for.
Sean Dyche‘s side are rock bottom of the Premier League on zero points following three humiliating defeats on the bounce.
The latest of all the three defeats came in chaotic fashion as the Toffees threw away a two-goal lead in the dying minutes of the game against Bournemouth.
Dyche has already taken a swipe at the Everton fans who left on the opening day of the season before full time.
And now the Everton boss will be under serious pressure to quickly turn this form around following the return after the international break.
However, there are already some concerned figures in the media following what they have seen from the Blues in the opening three weeks of the season.

Troy Deeney shares worrying verdict after what he’s seen at Everton
The Toffees are just one of two sides who have failed to take a single point from any of their opening three games in the league this season.
Fortunately, a win in their next game could take them up to 15th spot in the Premier League table.
However, they are also facing a trip to Aston Villa who have started off the new campaign in an impressive fashion.

Speaking on the Three Up Front podcast, Troy Deeney has admitted he is not as confident as Graeme Souness in his belief Everton will work their way out of this mess this season.
“I am worried about them because normally under Dyche, it’s tight, compact, set pieces,” said Deeney.
“They are just shipping goals and people are going straight through them. I have watched them twice live, I am not as confident as you (Graeme Souness) right now.”
Everton need a good performance at least vs Aston Villa
Next weekend’s game is going to provide Everton with a huge opportunity to put things right and it would be a real confidence boost if they could.
But it is not going to be straightforward with the Blues coming up against the Champions League side Aston Villa who have six points on the board.
If Everton are able to provide what would be the shock of the weekend and take something from the game, then it would be a huge boost.
There may not be many fans who are optimistic going into the game at Villa Park with the following game against Leicester City likely to be the more realistic opportunity at picking up some points.
