Tyler Dibling may never start again for Everton if David Moyes gets his wish

Tyler Dibling has rarely started games for Everton in his first season since a £40m move from Southampton back in August.

David Moyes has handed the England U21 international just four starts in the Premier League – as well as one each in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup – but the Everton No.20 is yet to score or provide an assist in his 18 appearances across all competitions.

If Dibling cannot even dislodge Dwight McNeil from that spot on the right – a man with just one assist to show for his efforts in 25 games this season – then the youngster may never start again if Moyes manages to bring Jarrod Bowen to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Would you rather Everton sign Summerville or Bowen this summer? 👀

Everton want Jarrod Bowen – and an agreement would not bode well for Tyler Dibling

The Daily Mail believe Everton want Bowen this summer – and a deal could be on as West Ham find themselves on the verge of relegation.

The England international is undisputedly one of the best in the Premier League when it comes to cutting inside from the right flank onto his stronger left foot, playing the game in a similar fashion to the manner in which Dibling shone at Southampton last term, as he made himself into a £40m asset.

Bowen can impressively boast 84 goals and 62 assists in 278 appearances for West Ham. Even in this current campaign – which has been below his usual standards – he has netted ten and set up another 11 in 40 games across all competitions.

The 29-year-old would be a marquee signing for Everton, and given the fact he also holds a very strong relationship with Moyes from their time together at the London Stadium, a successful swoop for the West Ham No.20 would surely leave Dibling in need of a loan move next term.

Furthermore, Bowen is incredibly durable. He has only ever missed six games because of an injury throughout his career, meaning he is likely to play every week if a move to Everton did materialise.

How can Tyler Dibling actually turn things around at Everton? 🤷‍♂️

It's going to need some turnaround from the youngster 😫

With Everton also targeting Dario Osorio – another winger who typically cuts inside from the right flank – Dibling must be starting to have real doubts over his future on Merseyside.
