Victor Osimhen is trying to persuade Samuel Chukwueze to move to Turkey amid Everton interest
Samuel Chukwueze is a name that Everton fans will be familiar with, as the Toffees have been chasing him since 2021.
The Nigerian international currently plays his football at AC Milan in the Serie A, but he’s not really been able to contribute an awful lot this season with one goal and one assists to his name in 13 appearances.
Well, looking at the lack of contributions across the board at Everton this season, he may just fit in.
All jokes aside, the Toffees clearly like what they see from the winger as they’re being credited with an interest in signing him.
According to Fotomac (as per Sport Witness), Everton are following Samuel Chukwueze.
But, the big issue for the Toffees is that Chukwueze regularly speaks with Nigeria teammate Victor Osimhen, who has seemingly been talking up Turkey after making the move there himself. His quick success and the ‘great interest’ he’s been getting could lead the AC Milan man to try it too.
Who is Samuel Chukwueze?
Samuel Chukwueze is a 25-year-old attacker who can operate on either wing.
He really caught the eye during his time at Villarreal, scoring 37 goals and 31 assists, which secured him the big move to play Champions League football at AC Milan.
His style of play is very similar to Iliman Ndiaye; only the Nigerian is suited to playing out wide. He uses his pace and dribbling ability to directly attack full-backs, just his end product has let him down at times.
Interestingly, it’s been claimed that the attacker has a £40 million price tag (as per Sport Witness), so this would have to be a summer move if Everton want to get it done.
