Everton meet with Merseyside rivals Liverpool next week as David Moyes will be hoping to make it back-to-back Goodison Park victories in the Premier League.
The Toffees haven’t achieved this feat since 1994, as Moyes could make history after the Toffees’ 2-0 triumph over Jurgen Klopp last April.
Adding onto this, Everton fans will no doubt want to sing ‘You lost the league at Goodison Park’ again, as Arne Slot’s side are currently in charge of the title race, but with Everton’s form, don’t count out on an upset.
After signing for the Toffees, Connor Coady said he supports Everton over Liverpool as the build-up for a must-win game continues.
Despite it being just under a week away, Slot has already given his view on Moyes.

What Arne Slot has already said about ‘special’ David Moyes
Slot has said Goodison is a beautiful stadium as the Dutchman has become a likable character in his early tenure with the Reds.
This won’t stop Everton’s desire to see Liverpool fail, but Slot also gave a respectable view of when Moyes joined the Toffees for his second spell.
Speaking to ITV before Liverpool’s FA Cup game against Accrington Stanley almost a month ago, Slot spoke on Moyes’ appointment.
“With David Moyes coming in it’s always special because of what he did for Everton but I think in general for the game,” Slot said.
John Heitinga set for Everton return but in the Liverpool dugout
John Heitinga had a successful spell with Everton between 2009 and 2014, making 140 appearances.
However, Heitinga made the controversial move of joining Slot at Liverpool this summer, as he becomes part of a collection of people to be involved with both Everton and Liverpool.
In no surprise, Heitinga should receive a frosty reception from Evertonians when the two sides meet next week.
Whilst speaking about Moyes in the interview, Slot also mentioned the Everton manager’s success with Heitinga at West Ham.
“He was also successful at West Ham where I think they won the Conference League with John Heitinga who is my assistant at the moment,” Slot said.
Everton fans will be wishing no success for Heitinga, as this new element has added more tension between both Merseyside camps.
