Duncan Ferguson made some rash decisions in his two tenures as Everton interim manager but no more harsher than what he did to Moise Kean.
‘Big Dunc’ is an Everton legend to this day, as his aggressive nature as a striker will continue to be spoken about in years to come.
He had the opportunity to play his role in the Toffees’ managerial history as well with Ferguson becoming interim on two occasions.
Ferguson wants the Everton job permanently, in what seems like a future aspiration for the Scotsman.
Well, Kean will certainly rule out any chance of an Everton return if Big Dunc returns as the boss, after Ferguson humiliated the striker in 2019.

What Duncan Ferguson did to Moise Kean at Everton in 2019
The Italian forward didn’t have the best of times at Goodison Park.
Joining in 2019, much was expected with Kean at Everton, especially after his £27.5m fee from Juventus.
The striker has been honest about his spell on Merseyside, as Kean called his Everton career ‘unlucky’ and that’s certainly one of the words you’d use after what Ferguson did.
With the Scotman at the helm for Everton against Manchester United in the 2018/19 season, during the 1-1 draw which Everton could’ve got more from, Ferguson made a strange decision.
After 18 minutes of being on the pitch, having come on in the 70th minute, Kean was bizarrely substituted by the former Everton interim, which didn’t leave the striker in the best of moods, and Ferguson explained his reasoning to Sky Sports after the game.
“I just needed to make a substitution to kill a bit of time,” Ferguson said.
“It was nothing personal against Kean.”

Kean’s £40m price tag even more impressive after flopping at Everton
After four goals in 39 games, Everton and Kean’s separation was probably for the best.
This doesn’t shed light on the striker’s ability though, as the 25-year-old is now on flames in Italy.
Kean has 19 goals in 30 games for Fiorentina, as Ferguson must be scratching his head to where this ability has come from, as Evertonains will be in agreement.
Ferguson taking Kean off after 18 minutes makes the striker’s form even more impressive, especially due to Kean having a release clause around £40m in Italy.
The whole situation could come back to bite Everton, as Arsenal are interested in Kean, and the striker will no doubt want his revenge on Ferguson’s beloved Blues.
