At Everton, all the focus at the moment is surrounding Sean Dyche’s future at the club.
After all, having lost their opening four Premier League games, pressure was always bound to ramp up.
What’s most frustrating about the nature of these defeats, two disappointing collapses aside, is that they have seemingly lost the one outstanding redeeming feature they boasted last campaign: their solidity.
13 goals shipped across this four-game period outlines a new big weakness, with some fans now calling for Sean Dyche‘s head.
Everton sources reveal fresh Sean Dyche sack update
With Graeme Bailey having reported that Sean Dyche was on thin ice at Everton just a day after their collapse to AFC Bournemouth, his position is unlucky to have strengthened after enduring the same miserable fate against Aston Villa last Saturday.
It is BBC Sport who provide the latest update on his future, as they write: ‘Everton manager Sean Dyche’s job is currently safe despite a wretched start to the season which has left the club winless and bottom of the Premier League.

‘Club sources have told BBC Sport the 53-year-old has credit in the bank from his 20 months in charge, in which he steered them away from relegation.
‘The Toffees were beaten 3-2 at Aston Villa on Saturday and have lost their first four games of a season for the first time in 66 years, but Dyche retains the backing of the club’s hierarchy.
‘The former Burnley boss has also entered the final 12 months of his contract at Goodison Park.
‘Everton are in the process of a takeover bid by American businessman John Textor and it remains to be seen whether Dyche’s services will be retained should a deal be completed.’
Everton must stick with Sean Dyche
Whether Evertonians like it or not, Dyche is and should remain here to stay at Goodison Park, at least until this season is over.
After all, there are so many factors that lend to his position remaining safe for the foreseeable future.
Firstly, as is stated in the report, he has earned the chance to turn things around with everything he has gone through at Everton.
And, in relation to that, there are few managers on the planet who will have seen what the 53-year-old has gone through and would like to jump into his seat.

There is little to no money in place to sack him, and even less to then source a long-term replacement, the likes of which might not even get a tune out of this first-team anyway and would have little funds to revolutionise the squad in their image.
Dyche is undeniably the best the Toffees can hope for in such a dire situation, and there’s no doubt he’ll steer them to safety, as he already has done twice before.
