Everton have struck gold by signing Jack Grealish on a season-long loan.
Jack Grealish has quickly re-established himself as one of the best wingers in the Premier League since leaving Manchester City for Everton.
Grealish is the joint-top assister in the division with four in seven appearances, although Thomas Tuchel controversially left him out of the England squad.
Already, Everton chiefs are exploring a permanent deal for Grealish, and now journalist Chris Beesley has shared what will have to happen for that to materialise.

What must happen for Jack Grealish to sign for Everton permanently
Speaking on Talking City’s YouTube channel, Liverpool Echo journalist Chris Beesley explained it will take ‘quite a bit’ of negotiation for Everton to sign Grealish on a permanent deal, with his £50m buy-option clearly too expensive.
“I’m sure they would. Like you say that that that fee seems a lot of money for somebody who’d be almost 31 years old at the time,” Chris Beesley said.
“So there will have to be quite a bit of negotiation to make that one work. I’m sure there would be a huge appetite from the Everton end for this to get done if he continues the way he has been playing, but again that those numbers are going to be crucial.
“Everton haven’t got those PSR restrictions that have been hampering them for so long. But yeah, it it’s would like you say you would see an ambitious fee for a player of that age, no matter how talented he was for Everton to have to pay a fee like that.”
£25m would be a fair price for Jack Grealish
By the time next summer swings around, Grealish will actually be heading into the final year of his contract.
And, he will be approaching his 31st birthday, so a fair price for both parties would be around the £25m mark.
The only potential stumbling block will be if any other Premier League clubs join the race and drive up the price.
Tottenham Hotspur were interested in Grealish in the summer, so they might be a club to watch out for.
