Everton have left their business late again and they are up against the clock to get their deals done.
David Moyes has been clear throughout January that the business in the winter window would be limited.
With just hours left on the clock, that is certainly looking to be the case at Everton.

One late arrival is looking likely as Tyrique George undergoes his Everton medical after being given the green light by Chelsea.
A new forward was on the agenda after Jack Grealish’s injury setback, but a right-back has been on the radar for a long time now.
If you could sign one player, who would it be Everton fans? 🤩
Moyes admitted Everton have wanted a new right-back for 12 months as the search goes into these final hours.
Everton News columnist Alan Myers remains on top of things on deadline day and he has now shared an update on Brooke Norton-Cuffy.

Everton informed of Brooke Norton-Cuffy transfer update
Competition was high for the right-back, with Inter also keen to sign Norton-Cuffy from Genoa.
However, it looks as if the dream has ended for this window.
Taking to X, Myers has shared an update from his sources over in Italy.
Everton are keen on signing Brooke Norton-Cuffy… are there other positions more important than right-back this transfer window?
‘My contact in Italy tells me Brooke Norton-Cuffy will not be leaving Genoa this window,’ said the Everton News columnist, Myers.
Alan Myers will be hosting another Q&A session on TalkingPoints on Wednesday, 4 February. Leave your questions by clicking the link.
Ironically, it is believed that Genoa are interested in Nathan Patterson, which could have opened the door to a possible swap deal.
But it seems as if the 22-year-old defender is set to remain with the Serie A side at this late stage in the window.
Everton miss a huge trick in not signing a right-back
Not landing a right-back in the winter window feels like a huge missed opportunity from Everton to really develop this side.
Moyes has already admitted he’s desperate to sign a new right-back, but the wait is set to go on.
Patterson is being linked with a late Everton exit as he remains second fiddle to centre-back Jake O’Brien under Moyes.
Without a replacement coming in, surely the Scotland international is going to remain on Merseyside for the rest of the season.
As the World Cup nears, Patterson is going to have to force his way into the Everton side to play regular minutes ahead of the summer.
