It’s been a quiet start to the January transfer window for Everton, but one publication is claiming a proposal has now been sent.
The Toffees are in an interesting spot right now.
Last week was a bad week, and fans are urging the club to get busy while the window is open, feeling there is an opportunity to make a proper push for European football.
Five assists this season… this would be a huge upgrade for Everton! 🤩
Could this be the right-back Everton need to transform the team?
But it seems Everton are not about to spend big, with several players set to become available again in the coming weeks.
The right-back position, though, is one the club are looking at.
Brooke Norton-Cuffy is of interest to Everton, and more recently there have been links to Ben White, the Arsenal defender.
But Emil Holm is also of interest – and Everton have reportedly made a move.
Everton sent proposal for Emil Holm which included Nathan Patterson

A new right-back is important for Everton.
David Moyes has long persisted with Jake O’Brien out wide, but the need for a more natural fit is clear.
O’Brien has done well at times. But Everton need to put round pegs in round holes.
Could Nathan Patterson have offered Everton more from right-back than Jake O’Brien? 🤔
Nathan Patterson has had some game time recently after returning from injury. But it seems, as has been suggested, Everton are looking to offload him.
And not just offload him, but use him as makeweight to sign Holm.
Corriere di Bologna have reported that Everton sent a proposal to Bologna today for Holm – and it was cash plus Patterson.
But it’s stated that the Italian club do not seem willing to offload Holm.

Patterson looks set for Everton exit
So Patterson has been included in a player-plus-cash offer for Holm, which comes as no surprise given Bologna’s interest in the Scot.
It feels very much as though Patterson’s time on Merseyside is coming to an end.

He was heavily linked with a move away from the club last summer, and the links are there once again.
Patterson did well against Sunderland at the weekend, but he does not seem like a player Moyes is counting on – and a departure this month would make sense for all parties.
We’ll see if he can be used in a deal for Everton to land Holm. Surely, it would be an ideal outcome for Everton.
