The Friedkin Group could improve Everton’s squad over January with the addition of some new faces.

Jarrad Branthwaite open to signing new Everton contract
There are a number of players at Goodison who are set to see their contracts expire over the summer.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is receiving interest from Arsenal with the striker looking likely to become a free agent in a matter of months.
Branthwaite is not one of them. However, a contract upgrade is of real importance to Everton with the Toffees looking to tie the centre-back down.
According to the Daily Mail, Everton are yet to open contract talks with Branthwaite following The Friedkin Group’s arrival.
This comes amid interest from Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool ahead of the January and summer windows.
The positive in the story comes as the youngster is said to be willing to ink a new deal following the takeover.
Branthwaite is targeting an injury-free 2025, but it seems as if a new deal could also be ahead of the defender in the coming months.
Just a couple of weeks ago, Branthwaite was suggested to Chelsea as a potential signing, but the 22-year-old seems keen to remain on Merseyside for now.
How much does Jarrad Branthwaite earn?
Over the last year, Branthwaite has become a regular in the starting XI for Dyche with the youngster establishing himself as an England international.
Salary space will become available over the coming months with players set to depart the club at the end of their deals.
Michael Keane is looking set to leave Everton as a free agent in the summer, which shows the importance of tying Branthwaite down to a new deal.
According to Capology, the 22-year-old is currently earning £35k-per-week making him one of the club’s lowest earners.
Everton fans have praised Branthwaite massively this season and he is developing into a player who could be the poster boy for The Friedkin Group’s project on Merseyside.
