The good feeling is well and truly back at Everton after their victory against Tottenham Hotspur.
David Moyes’ side put in one of their best performances of the season and the 3-0 scoreline at half-time actually flattered Tottenham.
The second half was a lot more even and Everton were pegged back to 3-2 in the end, but nonetheless, there’s plenty of reasons to be optimistic about the remainder of the season.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin looked back to his best at times as he took his goal really well whilst Jesper Lindstrom was perhaps the Man of the Match.
Sunday’s Goodison Park clash also saw the return of former fan favourite Richarlison and he received a positive ovation by the fans.
That said, the Tottenham forward was spotted doing something really admirable at Gwladys Street End just before the game which many missed.

Ever since Richarlison left in 2022, there have been pleas for him to return to Goodison and that’s only intensified in recent weeks.
That’s after it emerged that Richarlison was open to leaving Tottenham having failed to make an impact in North London.
He’s yet to make a league start this term, so perhaps if Everton do come calling, a sensational return could be on the cards.
The Everton Richarlison story doesn’t feel over
It really does feel like the Everton and Richarlison story isn’t over and there’s still some unfinished business.
Every time he returns to Merseyside, the reception he receives is always positive, which is often quite unusual when a player leaves.
The door has been left open for Richarlison to come back and perhaps now, with the Friedkin’s in post and the new stadium on the horizon, the time may be right.
