Everton’s takeover is the hot topic on the lips of all fans at Goodison Park after waiting well over a year for the moment.
It has been a positive weekend for the blue half of Merseyside with Everton fans left with more than their draw against Arsenal to cheer about.
Last week, Alan Myers claimed The Friedkin Group received Premier League approval with the takeover virtually complete.

Sean Dyche will just be focused on the matter he can control, with the Toffees having now gone two Premier League games without defeat.
However, there has now been an update on the latest the takeover could be announced.

The Friedkins’ Everton takeover expected by Thursday
Myers did suggest earlier in the week that The Friedkins’ Everton takeover would be complete on Wednesday, but that could be delayed slightly.
Taking to social media, Myers has now claimed the takeover could be completed on the following day, Thursday.
‘There’s a chance, but by Thursday at the latest would be my guess,’ he replied to one fan who asked if Wednesday would be the day.
Whether it is Wednesday or Thursday, the takeover is imminent, with fans waiting eagerly for the news to break.
Whenever it does happen, The Friedkins have a quiet Everton takeover announcement planned as they are aware of the work needing to be done at the club.

Everton can now focus on battling relegation
After a promising summer window, battling it out at the foot end of the table is not what fans will have hoped for going into the season.
But it is where the Toffees find themselves despite their recent upturn in form with Everton praised for their victory over Wolves.
The takeover saga may well have provided a distraction at Goodison, but there has definitely not been enough done on the pitch.

Sean Dyche is expected to be sacked by the Friedkins who are already looking at potential successors.
Their arrival comes right before the January transfer window with big change possibly on the cards at Everton.
