Everton are keen to add young talent to their squad this summer transfer window.
Last season, Everton had the third-oldest average age squad in the entire Premier League, only behind West Ham United and Fulham.
So, the Friedkin Group have changed the Toffees’ recruitment model, with great emphasis on signing younger players.
That’s already been evinced by the additions of Carlos Alcaraz and Thierno Barry, who are both just 22-years-old.
The Toffees are also interested in the likes of James McAtee, Omari Hutchinson and Tom Fellows, who all represent England’s under-21s.
Now, there has been a fresh development on another exciting prospect that Moyes has his eye on.

Everton miss out in race to sign Andrija Maksimovic
Everton were keen on signing Andrija Maksimovic from Serbian champions Crvena zvezda, with Moyes hopeful of adding a creative playmaker to his ranks.
Maksimovic, who has been nicknamed the ‘little Messi’ due to his wand of a left foot, had interest from the likes of Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid, too.
However, it’s RB Leipzig who have now managed to swoop in and land his signature in a record deal from the Serbian League.
Maksimovic joins in a £12m deal, having registered 14 goal contributions during his short career at Crvena zvezda.
Everton perhaps have known for a while that he was unattainable, so it shouldn’t scupper their transfer plans too much.
RB Leipzig have also beaten Everton to Johan Bakayoko
The Toffees were also exploring a deal to sign Johan Bakayoko after an impressive few seasons with PSV.
However, RB Leipzig have again managed to beat Everton to his signature, completing a deal in the region of £19m.
Bakayoko has penned a five-year contract with the Bundesliga outfit, so it’s back to the drawing board for Moyes and his chiefs.
Perhaps Everton could turn to Fellows, having already tried to sign the West Bromwich Albion winger in January.
