Everton are still looking to make some deals work before the end of the month despite having brought in four new faces already.
Sean Dyche has already suggested that Everton‘s summer business could now be done with the Premier League campaign just hours from getting underway.
Kevin Thelwell has certainly been a busy man this summer and his work is already looking like good pieces of business.
Jake O’Brien has already impressed having netted on his debut against Preston North End with the other three signings also making positive starts.
Everton’s squad certainly has room for improvement with the Blues potentially in need of another striker before the window shuts.
But there has now been a development which will not make for positive ready for anyone around the Merseyside club.

Everton lose out to Ipswich Town over £10m midfielder
Everton have now missed out on signing Kalvin Phillips this summer after he joined Ipswich Town earlier this week.
The Toffees are in the market for a new midfielder after Everton sold Amadou Onana to Aston Villa for around £50m.
But it looks like they are now set to miss out on one of their potential targets with Fabrizio Romano sharing an update recently.

Everton have recently requested information on the Napoli midfielder Jens Cajuste who was rated at around £10m.
However, Romano has now revealed on Friday morning that the midfielder is now headed for a move to Ipswich.
Cajuste is now undergoing his medical at Portman Road with the deal on an initial loan basis.
But Ipswich do have the option to make the deal permanent and there are certain conditions in the deal which could see the option become mandatory.
Everton could put their trust in Tim Iroegbunam
One of the standout performers from this summer’s pre-season has been Tim Iroegbunam following his arrival from Aston Villa.
The 21-year-old has been heavily involved in the Toffees’ pre-season efforts with the Blues giving the midfielder a real run out in the side.
Having lost Onana, Everton are going to feel a considerable void in their midfielder but there may be some hope that Iroegbunam is going to be able to help fill that hole.
But it has to be said, an injury or two could seriously expose the Blues in midfield if they do not make another addition before the end of the month.
