Everton need to decide on whether they will keep Abdoulaye Doucoure or let him go.
Patience will be wearing thin on Merseyside among the Everton players still waiting to learn their future at the club.
Numerous players could be headed for the exit doors at Finch Farm over the coming weeks as their contracts expire.
David Moyes said Everton won’t be bullied into making decisions when it comes to players’ contracts.
However, the club will be keen to lock down some of the individuals with a huge amount of work to do in the market otherwise.
Doucoure is itching to learn his fate on Merseyside, but he has now shed some light on a brilliant gesture from the club in recent months.

Abdoulaye Doucoure shares Everton gesture after private meeting
In recent days, Doucoure has issued Everton a contract ultimatum as he has insisted he is ready to leave if they do not hurry themselves up.
Three weeks remain in the playing season before the Toffees break up for the summer.
Speaking on The Fozcast, Doucoure has now admitted the club did not actually send through the fine for his Merseyside Derby antics, despite warning him they would.
“To be honest, they didn’t fine me. The manager called me in the office and said: ‘The club want to fine you’,” said Doucoure.
“And I accepted it, but so far I have not received anything. The club have been very good with me and they just understand what happened.”
Steve McManaman criticised Doucoure for his antics after the draw against Liverpool at Goodison Park.
But the emotions were high among the Everton players after James Tarkowski scored that historic equaliser.
And it is apparent the club have recognised that.

Everton need to decide before Doucoure chooses another club
The Mali midfielder has admitted he has other offers on the table, but he is giving Everton an opportunity to send over their proposal.
Gary Lineker and Micah Richards have praised Doucoure admitting he looks like a difficult customer to play against.
But the Friedkins are offering Everton a new dawn and whether they look to move on from these players remains to be seen.
Although Moyes has been able to secure Premier League football, it has still been a poor season overall for the Toffees.
Changes are going to be needed and perhaps some harsh goodbyes may be on the cards.
