Everton are counting down the days to the end of their Premier League season as it’s been a brilliant ending from David Moyes.
It’s been the perfect way to end what was a disastrous start from Everton under Sean Dyche, as relegation seemed like a possibility.
But Moyes has made his heroic return and has guided the Toffees away from safety, and Everton even had a chance of Europe.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 12 | 32 | 11 | 10 | 11 | 41 | 45 | -4 | 43 | |
| 13 | 32 | 8 | 14 | 10 | 34 | 38 | -4 | 38 | |
| 14 | 32 | 10 | 8 | 14 | 38 | 45 | -7 | 38 |
This seems like a future ambition under The Friedkin Group, who have made a great start to life with the Toffees.
However, despite all the positivity around the club, a controversial decision has been made, leaving Evertonians disgraced.

Everton fans left fuming at Goodison Park announcement
The main factor from this campaign is that it will be the final ever season Everton play at their beloved Goodison Park.
It’s an emotional time as The Grand Old Lady has stood for almost 133 years in what will be a major loss for not just Everton fans but the Premier League.
With this considered, there has been talk around what would be the perfect send-off for the iconic stadium, as the Premier League didn’t comment on Goodison’s finale date.
It’s now become clear why they didn’t do so, as the club have announced that the final ever game will be played on Sunday 18th May at 12 pm.
This decision has not sat well with the Everton faithful in the slightest, and fans have swarmed over to X, letting their fury be known.
@BillyDeansBoots said: “Awful time – Goodison going out with a whimper with an early KO.”
@kennyontour07 made a good point, saying: “Took all that time to sort it out, and you picked the time with limited rail service. Brilliant work from all involved.”
@Fitzpap86 was fuming as he said: “Absolute joke.”
“Impossible to have picked a worse time, so early, no pre-match build up, terrible time,” @BrianSaylePhoto claimed.
@KRay1807 simply put: “Pathetic.”
And along with many fans, @snackly1982 was appalled, saying: “Disgrace that.”

The Premier League continues to tarnish Everton relationship
With rumours of a potential Monday night kick-off circulating, this is no doubt better, but it’s still not good in the slightest.
Not only does it mean an early start for Everton fans on such a momentous day, but Southampton fans have to make the long trek at such an early time.
The announcement will only make matters worse with Everton’s concerns over the Premier League, as after Richard Masters’ past decisions going against Everton, it’s not a good look.
It also seems that Everton’s wish for a ‘sensible’ kick-off time hasn’t come true, which adds to the Premier League’s wrongdoings.
The announcement won’t ruin the entire day as it will no doubt be a brilliant atmosphere for Goodison’s finale, but for a once-in-a-lifetime game, it’s a shocking decision.
