Last night was a whirlwind for Everton fans, who were treated to a plethora of content from their potential new owner John Textor.
The American has been relentless in his efforts to try and assume control at Goodison Park, and that has culminated in a string of recent interviews updating supporters on his progress.
With Farhad Moshiri a rather maligned figure on Merseyside, most will be glad to see the back of him, especially if it is for this ambitious billionaire businessman.
However, not all have been convinced.

The Esk poked holes in Textor’s claims, whilst some Everton fans drew worrying comparisons between Textor and Moshiri.
Alan Myers is on hand to try and assuage fears.
Alan Myers interviews John Textor about Everton takeover
Taking to X, just after he had published his Sky Sports interview with the Crystal Palace owner, he would then seek to reply to a few fan queries regarding what they had heard.
However, one supporter would sum up his thoughts on it, noting: ‘I feel like he has high standards and a rebellious streak in him that Everton have been lacking for a long time. I think he will fight for us and take responsibility when he screws up. I see him as someone I could get behind which is more than I can say for others.’
Myers simply replied: ‘That’s the impression I got but let’s see.’
Whatever happens, John Textor will fight for Everton
Whilst he may seem a little chaotic and brash, with his American can-do attitude shining through with each new interview he gives, there is clearly a man who cares wrapped up in all that.
The 58-year-old has made a fortune through various ventures, and has achieved success so too ever since wading into football as well.
However, he has done so in a way that is comfortable with him, not following any guidebooks and certainly not listening to any rules.
His recent tirade about PSR speaks volumes for this, and also suggests that he will stop at nothing to defend Everton should he get in charge.
His monologue read: ‘The term financial fair play is a fraud because it is not fair enough. Who says that teams can only spend 75% of their revenue on player salaries,’ he said.
‘It’s a rule in Europe that was made to allow the big teams, with their big brands, like Liverpool, Manchester United, to spend more money. That’s not fair!
‘Crystal Palace has to play against Manchester United, which is allowed to spend more on players, there is no financial parity.’
Given how hamstrung the Toffees have been by PSR of late, it will be nice to have someone so vocally push back against these highly questionable rules.
