Everton are yet to make a signing this winter transfer window.
David Moyes’ side have put together back-to-back wins in the Premier League and there’s a lot more optimism around the club, but they can’t afford to become complacent.
The need for reinforcements remains evident, especially after the injuries to Armando Broja and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Beto is the only fit striker at the club and he wants to leave Goodison Park, anyway, so Everton must sign a number nine before the window slams shut on February 3rd.
Everton are showing an interest in Hamza Igamane after his sensational season with Rangers whilst Brian Brobbey has been linked to Merseyside.
With that said, Alan Myers has now set the record straight on the links to Brobbey.

Alan Myers rules out Everton’s interest in Brian Brobbey
Everton have been linked to Ajax forward Brian Brobbey over the last 48 hours and that speculation has been fueled after he was spotted in England over the weekend.
The 22-year-old was pictured in London on Friday evening, though, there’s been no confirmation that he was there to hold talks with the Toffees.
In fact, it’s more likely to be West Ham United or Tottenham Hotspur, if anyone, as they’re reportedly interested in his signature this month.
And, Everton insider Alan Myers has now rubbished the links to Brobbey, noting that he’s not heard anything about the club’s reported interest.
Myers also rules out Marcus Edwards transfer
Everton have also been heavily linked to Marcus Edwards, who is expected to leave Sporting this month after being excluded from the squad since Ruben Amorim’s departure.
However, Myers has poured cold water on those rumours, too.
It seems Everton are unlikely to get much business done in the remaining seven days of the window unless there are a couple of departures.
If Beto leaves for Torino, then perhaps the club may have the funds to bring in a centre-forward.
