Deadline day is just one week away and David Moyes is hoping to get two signings through the door at Everton.
Moyes has made his transfer plans clear and it’s now understood he’s looking at bringing in another striker following Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s injury.
The Everton boss only has Beto at his disposal at the moment and after his unconvincing performance against Brighton at the weekend, the need for support is evident.
Everton are interested in Rangers striker Hamza Igamane who’s enjoyed a prolific debut season in British football.
The Merseysiders are also looking at signing a left-back to provide competition to Vitaliy Mykolenko and with that said, they’re now in a race with Manchester United to sign their rumoured target.

Everton face competition from Man United for Ben Chilwell
According to the Daily Mail (page 59), Everton are keeping tabs on Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell ahead of the deadline.
It’s understood Chilwell, who joined Chelsea in a £50m deal, wants to leave Stamford Bridge this month after being excluded from the Premier League squad by Enzo Maresca.
The former Leicester defender is deemed surplus to requirements and Everton are willing to offer him an escape route.
Any forthcoming deal would likely be on loan, but The Toffees will have to fend off stiff competition from Manchester United, West Ham and Crystal Palace.
So it remains to be seen if Moyes will be able to convince him to join the Goodison Park outfit.
Everton should prioritise attackers
Whilst a left-back is certainly needed, it’s not an immediate priority especially considering the club are operating on a limited budget this month.
Attacking reinforcements should be the focus, with a striker and a goal-scoring wide player much more necessary.
Everton have been linked with Yunus Akgun and Baris Alper Yilmaz, who have been in prolific form for Galatasaray.
Anyhow, Mykolenko has improved in recent weeks and Leighton Baines has been tasked with improving the young left-back.
