Everton are in the market for a centre-forward this January transfer window, as Thierno Barry and Beto have left a lot to be desired.
Barry and Beto, who cost a combined £60m, have scored just five Premier League goals between them this season.
As such, David Moyes has made a striker a top priority this winter, and he has drawn up a shortlist of targets.
It’s understood that Wolves frontman Jorgen Strand Larsen is on Everton’s radar, whilst Roma’s Artem Dovbyk has also been linked.
How much would you pay for Jorgen Strand Larsen in January? 🤨
He scored 14 in the Premier League last season!
In Alan Myers’ exclusive Q&A on Everton News, he named the striker that he’d absolutely love the club to sign this month.

Alan Myers would love Everton to sign Ivan Toney
When asked what his ideal signing for Everton would be this January transfer window, Myers immediately said Ivan Toney.
And, it has been reported that Moyes is interested in signing Toney, who has scored 16 goals for Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli this season.
Who would be your dream Everton signing this month? 👀
Unfortunately, Myers doesn’t think the Toney deal is realistic, as he believes Tottenham Hotspur could land his signature.
Speaking back in November, the journalist told Everton News: “It’s not even clear he will leave Al Ahli during the winter transfer, in fact only this past week the Saudi club’s director Rui Pedro Braz appeared to play down any talk of Toney moving.
“However, the level of speculation around Toney would suggest things are being discussed. Even if Toney were to become available, and Everton wanted him, they would face stiff competition from a number of clubs.
“Tottenham Hotspur are likely to be after a striker and, with his former manager Thomas Frank in charge in north London, you would imagine they would be in pole position in any race to sign Toney.”
Everton are also looking at Troy Parrott
As well as Toney and the other aforementioned names, Everton are keeping tabs on Troy Parrott and have been in contact with AZ Alkmaar.
The Toffees have been told the conditions of the deal, with the Dutch outfit demanding around £31m for his signature.
Would Troy Parrott catapult Everton into Europe? 🎯
Interestingly, Alkmaar have just signed a striker and have shelled out just shy of £4m, which is among their club-record signings.
So, that could point towards the fact they’re anticipating the sale of Parrott, with Everton one of the front-runners to sign him.
West Ham United and Leeds have also been named as potential suitors.
