Everton supporters are keenly waiting to see what will happen with Harrison Armstrong this summer.
Harrison Armstrong went out on loan for the second half of last season to Derby County in the Championship – and it was a very productive spell for the academy lad.
Armstrong made 15 appearances for the Rams, and played a part in helping them to stave off relegation.
He turned in several really good performances and as a result, many are now wondering if he could be kept around the first-team squad by David Moyes for the 2025/26 season.
Moyes is a big fan of the youngster.
And plenty of fans love the idea of him sticking around to be a part of the first season at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
But it’s still unclear whether that will happen, and last night Alan Myers shared when the club may take a decision on the starlet.
Alan Myers says Everton transfer activity could shape Harrison Armstrong decision

At the moment, Everton still have a lot of work to do before the new Premier League season kicks off.
A lot of players left the club at the end of last season, so Moyes needs several new recruits in the next few weeks.
It is thought Moyes is currently prioritising a right winger.
But the club are also in the market for a new right back, with Everton recently missing out on Kenny Tete, and a couple of new midfielders.
And what Everton are able to do regarding new midfielders will shape what happens with Armstrong, who is currently wanted by Championship clubs.
Journalist Myers has said that any decision on the youngster is likely to take place towards the end of the window.
He said yesterday on X: “I read about interest from Blackburn, Derby and Hull for a Harrison Armstrong loan, I really don’t see any decisions being made about him till near the end of the window, and depending on who Everton bring in to the club.”
It has been suggested that Armstrong may well be ‘unlikely’ to be a regular at Everton in 2025/26, but that does not mean he won’t still stick around and be a squad player.
Everton facing important call on Armstrong
Armstrong has huge potential, so it is vital the club make the right decision on him this summer.
He’s had a taste of the Championship, and that clearly benefitted him a great deal.
If Everton do go and bring a couple of new midfielders in, then there should be no hesitation in sanctioning another loan for him to the English second tier.
One half season did wonders for his development, so a full season in the Championship could be very positive indeed for him.
But it may well be that Armstrong does stick around.
He’s a fantastic talent, and could also benefit from being in and around the first-team and making cameo appearances here and there.
