Everton have really high hopes for 18-year-old midfielder Harrison Armstrong.
Asmir Begovic said Armstrong will become a ‘special’ player, and Derby County know all about his exceptional ability.
Derby fans raved about Armstrong during his six-month loan spell last season, and he’s returned to Finch Farm as a much more mature midfielder.
David Moyes has been keeping a close eye on the England youth international this pre-season and he has really impressed.
Now, there is a fresh Everton transfer development on his future as three Championship clubs register interest.

Three Championship clubs register interest in Everton’s Harrison Armstrong
It emerged earlier today that Armstrong is ‘unlikely’ to be a regular for Moyes this season, throwing his short-term future into doubt.
A loan move has been mooted and now, according to TEAMtalk, Derby, Blackburn Rovers and Hull City are all keen to sign the talented teenager.
Everton chiefs were really pleased with how the Rams developed Armstrong last term, so that relationship could favour them.
It’s understood the midfielder ideally wants to remain on Merseyside and become a key player, however, all parties want to make a decision based on what will improve him most, making a loan a real possibility to ensure regular starting opportunities.
No decision is imminent as Armstrong is due to fly to the States later this month for Everton’s pre-season tour.
What Armstrong has said about his future
Speaking after the Accrington Stanley game earlier this month, Armstrong said that he’s really trying to impress the first-team coaches.
“I always like to be involved,” the teenager explained.
“I think that’s part of my game, being busy. Obviously, as time goes on, playing more with players like Tim (Iroegbunam) and Jimmy (Garner), I’ll get used to what they like to do more, and maybe I can get in more dangerous positions. I think I’ve done well, but there’s plenty to improve on.
“I think with the loan I’ve grown as a player so I’m just trying to show different sides to my game and hopefully I can impress. I’m taking the approach of what’s best to happen will happen. I’m just seeing how it goes really and taking each day as it comes.”
Everton are eyeing Douglas Luiz and Tomas Soucek, so if one of them join, Armstrong’s loan could be sanctioned.
